The Queen of Coins portrays a picture of a woman who sits alone upon a throne. Her throne is decorated with carvings of trees and fruits, angels etc.

These symbols are representative of material success and also of sensual pleasure. There is tree above her and also on the ground beneath her feet. The tree and plants are all flowering – indicating fertility and affluence.

The material affluence is further accentuated by the fact that she holds a golden coin (pentacle) in her hand. At the lower right corner of a card a rabbit is seen leaping out behind the bushes. The rabbit is a symbol of reproduction and fertility. The rabbit is also believed to be springing into our awareness bringing in good time and a sense of good judgment – a lesson to think property before leaping into action. This card, as such, is all about nurturing, feminine authority, parenthood and attraction.

Upright Position: This card is a symbolic representation of Mother Earth herself. The card indicates prosperity and security. It also indicates a caring person who is very conscientious and sincere too. The person does not use the accumulated wealth for only personal gains, but also for benefit of others — a versatile person who has realistic solutions to practical problems and is focused to create a balanced home environment.

Reversed Position: Reversed, the card indicates a person who is jealous, insecure and possessive – someone who is insensitive to the needs of others. In a reading, this card may also indicate trouble in the financial sector.
