Good Friday – April 2 (Fri)
Whether you are a Catholic or a protestant, this day is observed by all. It is the Friday before the Easter Sunday.

Easter Saturday – April 3 (Sat)
The day of Easter does vary every year and is determined on the basis of the Western Christian religious holiday.

Anzac Day – April 25 (Sun)
On the Anzac Day, Australia pays respect to the citizens who served the country during wars. Anzac Day is observed on the 25th April every year – it falls on the same day. On the Anzac Day war memorials are held all over the country.

Queen’s Birthday – June 14 (Mon)
Except Western Australia, Queen’s Birthday is observed as a bank holiday in all states and territories. It is observed on the second Monday in June. On this day “Queen’s Birthday honours list” gets released where new members of the order of Australia and other Australian honors are named. The main attraction of the day is the fireworks display.
