New Year

Heritage Day
Established by Heritage Canada Foundation in 1973, with the
focus to encourage the preservation and promotion of Canada's
historic, architectural, natural and scenic heritage. It is
celebrated on 3rd Monday of February.
Good Friday 10 Apr:
Good Friday is a Friday before Easter Sunday. On this day
Jesus Christ was crucified. Since, the early nineteenth century,

it as a Empire Day and is the official Birthday of reigning

25th May.
Aboriginal Day
It's celebrated on 21st June and corresponds with to the
summer solstice, the longest day of the year. People from
all walks of life come together to glorify their culture and
heritage at this time of the year. Government of Canada in
cooperation with Aboriginal organizations founded the day.
Discovery Holiday
Discovery Day is the name given to several holidays commemorating
the discovery of gold, land and other national discoveries.
In Yukon, there is a public holiday falling on third Monday
of August.
Canada day
Formerly called as a 'Dominion Day', it is the national holiday
in Canada. It marked the establishment of new federation with
its own constitution. Banks of Canada are closed his day and
citizens enjoy a day off.
Nunavut holiday
Nunavut holiday means a joyful day and is celebrated with
the mounds of hotdogs, sailboat races, fishing, games, parades
and square dances.
Civic holiday
Canada Civic holiday falls on the first Monday of August
and falls on different dates. The intent behind this holiday
is not to work.
