Hellenic Calendar

Hellenic calendar is typically a lunisolar calendar and is based on the calendar of the Ancient Greeks. The tradition, rituals, beliefs and culture of ancient Athens finds an eloquent utterance in the structure of the Hellenic calendar. It was right after the June Solstice the uniformity of the Hellenic calendar was first experienced. Before that there was no uniformed calendar in Greece.
