He hovers high above some graves from which naked men, women and children are seen to be rising with their arms outstretched - as if in response to the sound of the trumpet. Minor Arcana – Four Swords The Four of Swords card depicts a scene of a well lit basement of a church where a life size replica of a fallen warrior is seen to be lying in repose on the top of a casket. In ancient times, the basilicas of Church were used to house the deceased from noble families or of people who achieved something heroic. The life size replica of the warrior has been placed upon his tomb as a tribute to his heroic deeds. The hands of the soldier are seen to be folded in prayers. That it is a basement of a church is proven by the fact that only the lower frame of the large church window can be seen from here. The beautiful stained glass window portrays a colorful domestic scene. Across the tomb, by the side of the warrior, a horizontal sword has been displayed. The background is of azure sky and lush greenery - no turbulence is there in the environment. The man seems to be deeply engrossed in thought, as if he is meditating. There are three cups at his feet on the ground - these cups represent worldly attractions. There is a hand jutting out of the cloud offering the man another cup. This cup represents spiritual offerings. However, the man does not seem to pay attention to any of the cups. He is thoroughly preoccupied with his own thoughts. He is so engrossed with what he has that he cannot do anything else. His eyes look tired of hard work, but there is a hint of smile on his lips that suggests that he is satisfied with his accomplishments and possessions.
